Avian Encounters

Hey all!

So my break was spent at home in Newton, MA, where I saw seagulls, robins, crows, sparrows, geese, wrens, and cardinals! Twas quite exciting seeing these birdies on my runs OUTSIDE! Goodness I'm so pumped for spring :)

I went to work in Boston with my mom one day of break to do homework (thrilling, I know...you're all super jealous!) and I saw pigeons and more geese! I snapped some phone pics of these. Enjoy!

I also went to Rhode Island to visit my grandparents where I saw chickadees, a gold finch, a titmouse, a hawk, and a blue jay. I snapped a photo of the blue jay on my phone while I was there. My grandmother is an avid bird watcher and was very excited when I told her about this assignment. She even showed me HER list of birds that she has recorded this season...She and Walt, I presume, would have a good amount to talk about with their shared interest in bird watching.
